Eemo's wedding

Andrew was in his Eemo's (aunt on mom's side) wedding this past weekend. I attached a clip below of him walking down the aisle with this pillow from rehearsal. Unfortunately we couldn't get a clip of him during the real ceremony because we were both so busy, but this will give u a glimpse of him in action. We were really apprehensive and thought he might throw a tantrum, but he did so well and walked down perfectly! I really think kids know when its showtime! we were such proud parents!!!

King Sauna

We went to Dallas last weekend for my sister's wedding. We made a family trip to King Sauna, a korean spa that opened up. For those that don't know... its a spa where you go take a bath in separate mens and womens sides.. then come back out with the shorts and t-shirts they provide.. and then just relax. There's so many types of steam rooms..salt rooms, hot stone rooms, ice rooms...etc. There's a movie room, computer room, children's area, food court, and even a kareoke room! It took a little getting used to, but we enjoyed it so much that we went back a second time before coming back to houston! here's some pics of our time there. If you are wondering what that goofy looking white thing on our head is.. its a white towel that you roll up to keep your hair in it!! Trust me.. i would never do this elsewhere.. and i can't believe i'm gonna post this picture! hope you all get a good laugh out of it!

Easter and the scary bunny!

We went to church and had a great service followed by an easter egg hunt. Unfortunately it was raining and the egg hunt was moved indoors. But that didn't stop the easter bunny from coming! Drew was so scared of the bunny, he didn't even want to go into the room! He for sure was not having it when we tried to get him to take a picture with him. But did i go running to rescue him from the scary bunny? Nope.. i tried to snap some quick pics of him in his misery! i know.. how sad.. i'm horrible! Here's some pics of our Easter.

children's festival

This was our first year attending the annual Children's Festival. I was excited to take Drew there so he could so Dora (not Diego). Unfortunately, his nap ended late and we didn't get there until it was almost over and we missed Dora and Diego! Boo!!! He still had a great time listening to performers and even got on stage to clap and dance! (i caught the last end of it in the video below). He even got to hula hoop with grandpa's help.. although i think grandpa was more into hula hooping than any of the kids! The day ended with dinner at Tokyo one and to Mcdonalds for more fun outside. Needless to say, Drew was knocked out by the time we got home and we didn't hear a peep until the next morning.

A short video. he's like.. its over already???

Lovin the balloon hat and sword.

whats better than standing there and having someone swing the hula hoop around you?

The bean bag toss.. he was obsessed with this game! Poor HEB man!

Ending the festival with a bang..takin care of some business!

tuxedo

If there was a day that i thought my precious son couldn't look any cuter, it was today when i saw him in a tuxedo for the first time! My sister bought Drew a tuxedo and matching shiny black dress shoes for her wedding. He will be her ring bearer and will be walking down the aisle in her wedding!!! We are so excited, but are pretty nervous to see how he will do on the big day. The tuxedo fit perfectly, and to my surprise he didn't throw a fit and was happy wearing it! i think he knew it was a special occasion outfit! hahahha

Nanny Nanny Boo Boo

here's a pic of Andrew sticking his tongue out. He will occasionally do this, and i guess its my fault for doing it back to him because now he thinks its a game! Needless to say, i know its silly... but it was just one of those moments where i thought it was cute and snapped a pic!

Tupperware Party

Can you see the sweat on his forehead? he's been concentrating hard on this!

What is it about kids and tupperware? Drew will sit there and pull out everysingle container and lid i have in my tupperware cabinet. He will stack them over and over and then try to match lids on the containers. At least it keeps him busy and isn't dangerous, so i guess i 'll just pick my battles! I've tried to teach him to put them all back in the cabinet when he is done... but of course it will never be the way you like it! ah-ya-ya!!!! He could do this for hours.....

William Shakespeare, anyone?

Okay....so the book wasn't William Shakespeare, but was "Hide and Seek Pets". Same thing!!!! So i was upstairs folding and putting laundry away when i realized it was been really quiet and i hadn't seen Drew around the last few minutes. The first thing that entered my head was "oh great.. what has he gotten into now?" Cuz I know when he's quiet.. he's usually up to no good! After walking around, i found him laying down in his bed by himself and quietly reading (okay.. mumbling jibberish) to himself! i had such a proud mommy moment and ran to grab my camera!

Learning Tower

Okay, so after i started to let Andrew stand on a chair next to me while i washed dishes in the kitchen, he seemed to think he could push a chair up the the counter and climb up there himself. I quickly realized what i started and how potentially dangerous this could be if i wasn't there next to him. I was telling my mom about this and what do you know...she bought us the learning tower! Anything for her grandchild! So the learning tower arrived and Andrew could not be any happier in the kitchen... and same goes for me! He is now able to be at counter level with me. I can cook and clean in the kitchen and not worry about his safety. He can read, color, or do his puzzles in his tower. This has really saved me!!! thank you grandma!!!!!

Personal Dishwasher

It seems lately that Drew wants to help me with everything that i do. I noticed him carefully observing me while i washed dishes... so i pulled up a chair for him to stand on and gave him a sponge. To my amazement, he wet the sponge under the water and started to "wash" a bowl! He was so excited and his face lit up when i let him be my "helper". If only, he could dry them and put them away too!

Hummer

Drew got a remote control Hummer from Christmas from Uncle Daniel and Aunt Eunice. Although he can't maneuver the controller quite yet... Daddy sure does not have a problem playing with it for now! We took it outside for a test drive, while Drew rode his Kawasaki bike.
